Ken Harris & Associates has announced its newest edition to the Law Firm.  Raleigh, NC attorney Abraham Penn Jones joins Ken Harris and Associates, PA in an Of Counsel capacity.

Attorney Abraham Penn Jones’s experience and resume make him a valuable addition to the team.  Jones served as a Superior Court judge in Wake County for 17 years and currently focuses his practice in the litigation area.  He also served as “Adjunct Professor” in Trial Advocacy at the University of NC at Chapel Hill School of Law.  Jones graduated from the Harvard University undergraduate and law programs.

Ken Harris & Associates is located at the Avid Exchange Music Factory in Charlotte, NC.  It’s Founder, Attorney Ken Harris, is noted for personal injury, worker’s compensation and medical malpractice litigation.  The Firm’s practice areas include Personal Injury, Workers Compensation, and Social Security.  The Firm has handled/litigated many high-profile cases throughout the State of North Carolina.

A Student Says She Was Intimidated By Her School For Breaking Dress Code A North Carolina high school student has hired an attorney to help her challenge a 10-day suspension and a ban from walking at graduation after she says she was isolated and intimidated by school officials for violating the dress code. Summer Bond, a senior at Hickory Ridge High School, in Harrisburg, was wearing a green shirt last week that showed a portion of her shoulders and her back, when the school’s principal, Michelle Cline, approached her to warn that the shirt was a possible dress code violation, attorney Ken Harris, who is representing Bond, told BuzzFeed News.
